Since we leverage a rent-to-own structure, the home stays in your name until the tenant qualifies to purchase it. The tenant becomes what’s called the “beneficial owner,” giving them the ability to buy the home at the agreed contract value (minus any credits) at the end of the term.
To keep everything secure, the tenant carries their own insurance, while your existing insurance policy stays active as an extra safeguard for rare scenarios like a fire or flood—just like you would with any rental property.
